gimmeBRITNEY got their first listen of the new ‘Criminal’ mix today and we can confirm that it’s the above mix that leaked to the internet earlier today, with slight instrumental changes, a thicker beat and more guitar.
This mix will be sent to Australian radio on Monday 12th Sep. Britney is shooting the music video for Criminal in London next week and we’ve been told to expect its premiere mid-October.

The first single (and 4th from Femme Fatale) to be taken off the upcoming ‘B In The Mix: Volume 2‘ remix album has been remixed by Cajjmere Wray for its release.
However the CCW Remix, we’re told, is NOT the ‘different (tempo) version’ that will be sent out to Australian radio on Monday September 12th and we’re yet to hear what changes have been made to the track for it’s single release next Monday.

Sony Music Australia have today confirmed to us that ‘Inside Out’ has been cancelled and will be pulled from NZ radio in coming weeks, to be replaced with ‘Criminal (Remix)’ internationally.
The newly-remixed version of ‘Criminal’ we’re told has a “completely different tempo”, and will serve as the lead single from Britney Spears’ new remix album B In The Mix: Volume 2, out in Australia on Friday October 7th. The remix album will feature ‘Criminal’, tracks from Circus and Femme Fatale, and new unreleased tracks. (More info on those coming as soon as we’re allowed to post it and have confirmation!)
Criminal’s new version will be serviced to Australian radio on September 12th. The tracklist of B In The Mix Vol 2 is yet to be confirmed.
Sony tells us to expect the ‘Criminal’ music video in mid-October.

Sony Music Japan has just released the official cover for Britney’s new remix album B In The Mix: The Remixes Volume 2.
The remix album we’ve been told WILL feature unreleased tracks (that we’re sure will tear the club up…) and will be released in Australia on Friday September 30th.
More information is coming as soon as we’re allowed to release it!

Sony Music Australia and the 2Day FM Network have both confirmed to us, amongst numerous other sources, that fan favourite Inside Out is the fourth single from Britney’s Australian #1 album Femme Fatale.
Until recently, the release schedule did state that Big Fat Bass was the next single, however this seems to have been recently changed in favour of the midtempo track.
There is talk of multiple singles being in the mix, namely Criminal (and the new addition of possibly Drop Dead (Beautiful) according to exec. producer Dr Luke) being used for different continents, however we don’t have any confirmed or solid information regarding this.
The single won’t be serviced to radio for a few more weeks as I Wanna Go is still continuing to peak – last we checked it was at #6 on US iTunes! – but we’ll let you know dates and more information when we hear it.
