Daybreak UK give us an inside look at Britney’s Femme Fatale Tour rehearsals which look absolutely phenomenal, plus a brief (but very cute) interview with a bubbly, bright Britney.
Who else is freaking excited?! Gimme More being performed…my brain can’t comprehend the amazingness. Only a few more days to go! -J

A short clip of what appears to be professional video footage from Britney’s Circus Tour, possibly for a DVD, has leaked.
Several shows were known to have been filmed for a DVD but were never released. It’s rumoured Britney’s team weren’t happy with how they were shot (angles etc), as well as several copyright issues that weren’t sorted out in time.
Looks hot to us! Let’s hope we get a little more sometime soon

Acer Arena will be sending out “Thank You” cards to all patrons who attended Britney’s record breaking “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” Tour in November 2009 in Sydney.
Britney Spears broke the record for concert ticket sales at Sydney’s Acer Arena with a total of 66,247 tickets sold across 4 nights. Britney Spears ticket sales exceed the previous record set by Coldplay in March 2009 when the record stood at 59,391.
Here is a preview of the flyer, which will be sent to patrons over the coming weeks.

Maybe Britney’s participating in Mo-vember?

Britney sported a fake moustache and top hat for her performance of ‘Circus’ tonight at Sydney’s Acer Arena. Gotta love it when she’s having fun

EVEN if Britney Spears had delivered live vocals at the opening of her record-breaking stand at Sydney’s Acer Arena last night it would have been impossible for her to be heard over the crowd’s deafening roar of welcome.
After a week of controversy the Britney Spears Circus finally rolled into town and the capacity crowd seemed impressed.
They cheered and applauded when she arrived on and when she left the stage.
But in between, most sat or stood quietly.
It’s not that the Circus Show and the presence of Spears herself aren’t enough to enthral – they are.
But experiencing the show through the prism of too much knowledge was always going to lessen the impact.
The facts are that Britney did mime – with the exception of her performance of the ballad Everytime – and Australia has already witnessed two exceptional pop spectaculars recently, courtesy of Pink and Beyonce.
Our benchmark is high, as it should be.
Spears brought the hits, dancers and absolute visual extravaganza of the Circus performance, plus her own adorable wide grin.
But you could feel the disconnect between US star and local fans as she strutted and vogued rather than danced, lip-synched instead of singing and reprised her only greeting for the crowd:
“What’s up Sydney, how are you feeling?”
There was no doubt the fans were rewarded with a set list they wanted to hear after so many years of waiting and a peppering of spectacular moments to make them feel their loyalty was worth it.
Unfortunately for this reviewer all the Circus Show did was to remind me of the first moment my pop innocence was shattered – when I discovered Janet Jackson cried at exactly the same moment during every one of her concerts.
But the Spears fans, they will come in droves: Britney is on course to break Acer Arena’s record with 67,000 people expected to witness her four concerts in Sydney.
