After initial reports from members actually at the concert, and a radio station who reported that ’3′ was performed at Acer Arena in Sydney tonight, it has been found as all false.
’3′ was NOT performed tonight.
It has however been confirmed that there was some sort of recording equipment present for tonights show. We do not know if this was for the big screens or what. It was possibly for this purpose since Britney’s manager, Adam Leber has said that there will be no DVD – and Felicia Culotta (Brit’s Business Assistant) confirmed to gimmeBRITNEY that there would be no DVD as well.
Due to the fact that we cannot see how Acer Arena is setup, the big screens could very well be high definition in setup. So I wouldn’t get too excited over this.
We’ll do some digging, and if we find out anything new – we’ll let you guys know. We’ll also post the audio tomorrow from the radio station.

Hearing from sources that Britney just performed ’3′ at her Sydney show tonight and the performance audio was broadcast live on Fox FM.
UPDATE: Confirmed! Britney has just performed ’3′ for the first time at Sydney’s Acer Arena. The audio was broadcast live on The Hot 30 Countdown’s ‘Live Music Mondays’!
Sources are also saying “there are definitely HD cameras here and a big audio rig with recording equipment” – maybe Adam Leber just wanted to surprise us?
We’ll keep you updated!
UPDATE #2: Filming is 100% confirmed, but hearing conflicting reports on the ’3′ performance…we had confirmation via text of people supposedly in attendance and the Hot 30 said they were broadcasting it live. Not sure why people are now saying otherwise but we’re looking into it.

Oh, bother… here’s the new Rebekah Devlin. Her name is Shannon Deery.
Welcome Shannon to her 15 minutes of fame. I’ll leave my comments for after.
BRITNEY Spears’ concerts look set to be derailed as fans flock to offload tickets to her shows.
Hundreds of tickets to her shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Acer Arena were listed on eBay this week.
The sell-off by fans follows a lip-synch controversy that has dogged the star since she arrived in Australia just a week ago.
Dozens more went on sale yesterday after the pop princess failed to wow fans with her first Melbourne show on Wednesday night.
Some have been listed with a starting price of just 99c – with no reserve.
Most are offering tickets in pairs or multiples, with many stating they can no longer attend as the reason for the sale.
The flood of tickets has resulted in a buyer’s market, with tickets being sold well under face value.
One Britney Spears diamond-class standing ticket for one of her Sydney concerts - valued at $200 – sold for $32 while $220 diamond class reserved seats are being offered more than $100 cheaper than face value.
At Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, fans walked out early in disgust at a lacklustre performance with some demanding their money back.
Other disillusioned fans were offering to give away premium tickets outside the venue. With tickets ranging between $200 and $1500 they were promised “a dazzling display of music, dance, magic and theatrics” at the year’s “biggest spectacle”.
Instead they said they felt ripped off.
Spears came under fire for sloppy dance routines.
“If you’re going to mime, at least learn how to dance,” one disappointed fan said. “It was the worst $200 I’ve ever spent.”
Independent ticket broker Shaun Black said the Circus tour was a flop.
“It has been really tough. I will lose a lot of money with this tour,” Mr Black said.

Well that was a fun read.
Firstly, Shannon – dear, love, muffin… There are only 3 official outlets to buy tickets to the Circus tour. They are Ticketek, Showtime and Preferred Seating – or their agents. For you to interview an “Independent ticket broker” means that you spoke with someone who is operating illegally as a ticket scalper. He’ll “lose a lot of money with this tour” because he purchased a surplus of tickets so he could hoarde them for a premium on the auction site you are reporting on, eBay.
Those other tickets that you’ve pointed out… did you actually check the sellers? There are alot of duplicate sellers, selling multiple tickets. Hmmmm, so these “fans” bought more than their tickets to now sell on eBay? Also, saying that tickets are selling under face value may be incorrect. (Edit: We’ve re-checked and there have been a number of tickets sold for under the face value – however it’s unsure who has sold these and if these were “scalpers” trying to profit who had no other choice). Tell the story correctly, as some tickets were sold to public for only $50 the other weekend. So these sellers could actually be pulling in a profit.
But here’s a gold star for a great report that no-one cares about!
xoxo gimmeBRITNEY

Updates, news and photos will be constantly added to this post leading up to and during the show.
UPDATES: Getting some good info from the first Melbourne gig. Here’s what we’ve found out.
* There will absolutely be no DVD due to copyright issues
* Mannequin, You Oughta Know, Touch Of My Hand or 3 will NOT be in any of the rest of the shows
* There will be NEW Australian tour programs out later this week, or next week (which is why the programs were in short supply for the Perth shows)
Live Updates

Exclusive videos recorded by my best friend Claire who was with me at last night’s show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. As you can hear, the crowd is going insane!

Newspapers slammed Britney Spear’s first Australian show, saying that her lip synching had driven her fans away.
So the star arrived for her first show in Melbourne under a cloud of negative press; with her Circus show firmly under scrutiny.
After she played for the first time at Rod Laver Arena last night Matt and Jo asked fans to call and tell us what it was REALLY like: did anyone walk out? Were you annoyed by her lip synching?
We were amazed that 95% of the calls we received said that Britney and her show were great.
Chrissy from Brighton said “I think it’s just all the papers just making a big deal. They’ve been picking on her since she left the airport.”
Renata from Noble Park said “I have to say I did not see one person walk out. Everyone was on their feet dancing.”
Natalie from Somerville said it was “one of the best concerts I have ever been to.”
Natasha, who had won a coveted Loveseat by shaving her head on the Matt & Jo show had a frontrow seat for all the action. She said “it was amazing. Not just Britney, but the other performers were amazing too.”
Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback we got from Melbourne ‘The Herald Sun’ is still criticising Britney; “as a dancer she’s possibly the weakest link in her show.”
