Circus Tour DVD Clip?

A short clip of what appears to be professional video footage from Britney’s Circus Tour, possibly for a DVD, has leaked.

Several shows were known to have been filmed for a DVD but were never released. It’s rumoured Britney’s team weren’t happy with how they were shot (angles etc), as well as several copyright issues that weren’t sorted out in time.

Looks hot to us! Let’s hope we get a little more sometime soon :)

Darkchild Responds To Telephone Leak

britrush
Darkchild has taken to Ustream after the demo version of Telephone, originally recorded by Britney (written by Lady Gaga) hit the web.

Yesterday Sony Music HQ told gimmeBRITNEY that the song was not Britney – we’re guessing they had no idea about the track – as today it’s producer, Darkchild, has confirmed it is.

He’s said that the leaked version was the first demo they did for the song and was completely unmixed and unmastered, and insisted that he wasn’t behind the leak and wouldn’t be leaking the final version either – in respect for Britney and the labels wishes.

Darkchild also spoke about Britney’s upcoming seventh studio album spilling some exciting details about the secretive project.

[Britney's manager] Larry Rudolph came to my house and we had an incredible conversation about Britney’s new album. We talked about the direction of her album, he gave me some insight into the direction and he wants me to work on stuff… So with that said, “Telephone” did what it had to do and we’re very pleased with the results, but now I’m about to put 200% of my focus into writing a new smash for Britney’s new album… An international smash…

I think the fans deserve it, I think Britney deserves it and I can’t wait to get back into the studio with Britney. I’m about to go crazy on making something that’s so crazy. Since the conversation with Larry Rudolph I’ve studied some stuff from her last album and the Blackout album, and that was great stuff but I’m gonna bring something a little bit greater. I’m gonna give it my all to deliver something that’s crazy, crazy amazing for Britney.

The conversation with Larry went great, I know exactly what the direction is and I’m gonna kill it! I’m gonna create the most incredible, unbelievable track that you could ever think of to hit the planet earth, the galaxy, around the world, all of that [laughs], for Britney Spears!

As previously reported, both Guetta and Tiesto have been approached to produce on the new album – and we’re still sticking by information that was leaked to us about a David Guetta track that has been recorded.  In this case, seems like Britney is going for a more electro/techno/house sound for her next release.

Sounds like we’re in for a treat!

Not Gonna Ring My Telephone

brit_phone

Earlier today the Britney world exploded with news of a leaked demo version of Telephone – the song originally written by Lady Gaga for Brit’s Circus album.

gimmeBRITNEY has asked Sony Music HQ and they’re really not all that worried, telling us that it’s not Britney – which would explain why numerous links to the song on YouTube and social networking sites have remained active for hours now.

So, what say you? Is the leaked version really Britney?  Time to get tweeting Darkchild to get a comment!  Oh and make sure you vote!

Tiesto producing for Britney?

After a massive drought on music-related Britney news, here’s SOMETHING which seems like it might have some substance!

Following a recent tweet by Jive’s Senior VP and Britney’s longtime A&R, Teresa LaBarbera Whites

Met Tiesto today…I think I adore him…
4:24 PM Apr 21st

…a Dutch Music TV channel contacted Tiesto’s recording label who did not deny the rumours, saying “You can go ahead and assume that is true”. A bit vague, but very believable considering Tiesto’s recent collaborations with artists such as Nelly Furtado.

Interest in David Guetta AND Tiesto…could we be expecting another solid dancefloor record like Britney’s masterpiece that is Blackout?

(On another note: had a lot of emails/messages asking about our earlier June date. Note that most dates unless we say they are confirmed are TENTATIVE as they show up on the release schedule, and are subject to change at any time. Currently Jive seems to be looking at an October/November release date. We have never fabricated a story. Thanks.)

Now with added flava!

brit3

Things have been a lil quiet on the Britney front as of late.

Some “wild goss” that we can throw your way is that MTV News, and a few other sites around the web are reporting that Brit is set to release her 7th studio album in November.  This news is reported to have come from none other than Outsiders Media, the guys behind her massive 2008 hit Womanizer!

On other news, we’re adding downloads to the site in the coming days.  Keep your eyes open for some exclusive and awesome Britney remixes – soon.
